Which Autocad version is compatible with windows 7?

I am learning Autocad 2010 and I have recently bought a laptop with 64-bit windows 7 and autocad 2010 is not compatible with it!what do i do?Is autocad 2011 or 2006 compatible with windows 7?or should i go for Revit which is compatible with windows 7?how different is revit from any other versions of autocad?

    From the official Autocad site :

    “Both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of AutoCAD® 2010 and AutoCAD® LT® 2010 are compatible with and supported on Microsoft Windows® 7″

    You just have to be careful and check that you have the 64-bit version of Autocad 2010 (like your Windows 7 is). I know it works cause i have it installed.
