What is the best font to use for drafting?

Hello,
I’m an architecture student and intern, and I draft in Autocad all the time. Right now at work we have a collection of Autocad blocks with all different fonts and this bugs me. In the interest of making our drawings look more cohesive, I’d like to switch things over to use just one or two fonts.

What fonts are you fond of for drafting?
Condensed fonts seem good because they save space with minimal reduction in legibility.

Type in all caps and yes, use condensed fonts. Ask the person who you are interning under to see what he/she used.

    Try Arial Narrow.
